FAWN’s MISSION
FAWN (Friends of Animals With Needs), an all-volunteer 501c3 nonprofit organization, rescues and helps stray and abandoned cats and dogs. FAWN raises funds to spay and neuter felines and canines to control overpopulation and reduce the need for euthanasia.

FAWN rescues cats and dogs and supplies food and needed care, including testing and immunization.  Cats not suitable for adoption are maintained in four cat colonies, or placed in a suitable barn.  As fund are available, FAWN home fosters adoptable animals and provides financial assistance to people with animals in crisis.  FAWN also matches pets with seniors and families.  FAWN raises awareness through public education, the media, and joint projects with other animal groups and agencies about benefits of spay/neuter, caring for pets, and information on existing laws protecting companion animals.

We are not a shelter, we are a string of foster homes that help to find a suitable match between families and their new pet. Our felines do not live in cages, they live in homes of the caring people who want to help these stray or abandoned animals. Through our adoption program, we save many lives. Your support helps to end euthanasia while promoting healthy relationships between people and pets.

One of our biggest interest are helping the senior citizens to have their pets spayed/neutered so they can have a life long companion. If they do not have a life long companion, we help to locate that pet for them and have it spayed/neutered at no cost to them.
